Sometimes I feel as if all the “good” bands come from somewhere outside of Boston. Granted, I’ve been in France for the past year and haven’t been up to date, per say, on both American culture and underground acts [a perfect example of this: upon coming back from Paris, I had no clue what Twilight was]. While overseas though, I did stumble upon a band called Passion Pit. They hail from Cambridge. Some of you know them, some of you probably don’t, however, Rolling Stone named them the band to look out for 2009 and rated their newest album “Manners” four stars. Most recently, Improper Bostonian named them Band of the Year in this week’s issue featuring Conan on the cover.
