Welcome

First and foremost, Happy Bastille Day to all you Francophiles [like myself] living in the States who are itching and wishing to be in Paris right now for the festivities.  FYI if you are in the Boston area, tonight the Liberty Hotel is throwing their own fête for the special occasion.

That being said, welcome to Boston Candy Couture.  This is my own experiment blog that [hopefully] will be a platform to share some thoughts I have regarding Fashion, Politics, Sports and the Media, and the crossroads where these different industries intersect in daily happenings around Boston.  Again, this is an experiment I’m throwing out there between summer classes, two [pretty full-time] jobs, and everything else that goes along with being a 20-something year old [future] urban professional during strange economic times in the Boston area.

As this is a work in progress, any suggestions or shout outs would be greatly appreciated.
